2025 Spring Registration

Registration Now Open for Spring 2025!

The JCB Spring Session is a fun and challenging band program. In our relaxed and supportive rehearsal environment, we help to challenge the beginner, the advanced player, and even the professiona. In each rehearsal and concert, we balance an easy-going environment while striving for excellence. We have members who are in 8th grade all the way to 80+ years! JCB is a great opportunity to get to know people in surrounding communities of all ages and experience levels. This session meets Sunday evenings, 7:00 to 9:00 PM, from February 2nd through May 4th.

All musicians, with a minimum of five years experience, from 8th grade to adults are welcome!

Our Mission

The mission of the Jenkintown Community Band is to bring together and offer a musical outlet for a broad variety of musicians with different abilities and experiences.
The Jenkintown Community Band (JCB) is an inter-generational concert band including junior high and high school students, as well as adult members, ranging in age from 13 to over 60. The Band was founded by music director Alex Schmauk in 2008.
